For the ultimate in oxygen content reading in your exhaust, we recommend going with the Lab Grade NTK oxygen sensor upgrade.
The GEN4 ECU board will have a microprocessor installed dedicated for the lab grade NTK oxygen sensor. This will allow the AFR ranges to read as low as 3.0AFR. We recommend this on all methanol-based engines that will run AFR’s in this range. This is the secondary oxygen sensor which will be installed and configured on your secondary oxygen sensor connection residing on Header 2.
By having dual NTK oxygen sensors installed, the ECU will read each bank of the engine and can control each bank in closed loop AFR control.
